Who said the Scottish were tight?

For all other fellow tight people, let me show you the MEAT. M=Meals and Drinks (you need some food with the wine), E=Extras (Entrance fees, internet fees etc), A= Accomodation and T=Transport. Our target was to live under 40 euros a day, then 50, then 60, which as you can see from the graph, we rarely do. However, although our average was over 76 euros a day for the first 10 days, our next ten days were 59 euros and 75 cents a day, which gave me a very warm felling in my Scottish heart. Then we went on a cruise...

Stuart - When did this sudden attack of fiscal common sense happen?? I remember you from university: you faked ricketts in order to claim the student hardship fund.

Credit to you for interupting the pics of glaciers and mountains with a pic of your accounts book. Few would have the courage to do that.

Heh! I remember when I was InterRailing - we basically had £10 a day, each, for 30 days*...and we did it! But only 'cos we planned our routes so we could crash on the trains rather than stay in hostels.

* PLus £279 for the ticket, and that's about it.

We must have smelt soooo bad...

Grannie would very proud Stu, do you keep all you pennies in different envelopes in your bag too?
Martine, how the hell are you putting up with this? I can almost guarantee he sits and stares at that book and wants to discuss it for hours. The man is a freak, get out while you still can.
